(Lanka-e-News -13.March.2025, 11.00 PM) Senior investigative journalist Nandana Weeraratne, who first revealed information about the Batalanda torture chamber through Ravaya newspaper, held a press conference today, exposing many unknown details to the public.

Before the presidential election, he also published a book titled "We Set Fire to Batalanda." In reality, it was Nandana’s revelations through Ravaya that pressured then-President Chandrika to investigate the crimes committed in Batalanda.
