(Lanka-e-News- 18.Nov.2015, 9.30PM) Minister Rajitha proudly said recently, when other ministers accepted cash from Avant Garde Co. , he too was approached by the Company to pay him, but he did not accept. Lanka e news inside information division however has been able to unearth the actual facts with palpable evidence , that Rajitha has blatantly and brazenly lied.
Dr. Sayuru Samarasundara , the chairman of State pharmaceutical manufacturing Corporation , and secretary to minister Rajitha letting the cat out of the bag said, Rajitha received Rs. 5 million form Nissanka Senadipathy , the owner of Avant Garde Co. The telephone discussion between Senadhipathy and Samarasundara in this connection is revealed hereunder. Hence , it is abundantly clear , the minister is now averse to this business not because of any love for the country but because , he is not satsfied with the amount paid to him , and owing to his sly and secretive motive to take over that business.
