(Lanka-e-News -14.Oct.2015, 10.30PM) The DNA sample of Saman Jayalath (Kondaya’s elder brother) the accused who was arrested last in connection with the murder of Seya Sandewmi of Kotadeniyawa and that of the live outside cell of the body of the deceased are matching , the Minuwangoda magistrate B.A. Ruwan Pathirane revealed in court.
The report of the Gene Tech Institution, Borella was received this morning by the Minuwangoda magistrate . The gene investigation report of the DNA of Kondaya’s brother was produced by the CID.
The DNA of the father of Seya was also examined, but it was not compatible with that of Seya, according to the report.
It is significant to note when investigating the murder of Seya , the Kotadeniyawa police conducted themselves like demented idiots just released from the loony bin running amock taking into custody innocent individuals making loud and proud announcements that they have arrested the culprits . Whither Sri Lanka police force ?
