(Lanka-e-News -30.Sep.2015, 8.00PM) The report of the committee appointed by the former minister of sports Naveen Dissanayake to investigate fraud and corruption within the Sri Lanka cricket association was yesterday (29) handed over by the president of the association Ravi Algama , lawyer , to Naveen Dissanayake who is now the minister of plantation industry .The report was subsequently handed over to the new minister of sports , Dayasiri Jayasekera.
The other members of the committee ,lawyers Jaliya Bodinagoda and Waruna Mallawarachi were present on the occasion.
The new sports minister is one from the corrupt group who got elected to parliament on the votes of the pro corruption groups . Nevertheless since he is now a minister of the government of good governance it is hoped the minister without relapsing into his old ways will release the report which the people of pro good governance are earnestly awaiting.
