(Lanka-e-News -17.Sep.2015, 11.30PM) The Derector of the Military Intelligence, brigadier Aruna Wanniarachi then involved in the abduction and murder of Lanka e news journalist Prageeth Ekneliyagoda was summoned to the CID this morning.
After being interrogated for six hours , the brigadier left the CID. A CID officer speaking to Lanka e news revealed that a wealth of very important and vital information was elicited from the brigadier .

The unscrupulous media coolies who are stooping to do the sordid biddings of Gotabaya Rajapakse are seeking to paint the picture that the intelligence division officers who are now in custody are of the Karuna group , and this brutal crime was committed by Karuna group. Whether it is Karuna, Prabhakaran or any other terrorist group , the stark fact is , these Tamil officers were working for the army intelligence division acting under the commands of the Rajapakses.At that time orders were given to the intelligence division not by a ‘Karuna’ but by brigadier Aruna Wanniarachi.
