2015 parliamentary elections final results : UNP 106 seats; UPFA 95 seats; TNA 16 seats; JVP 6 seats; Muslim Congress and EPDP one seat each.

(Lanka-e-News - 18.Aug.2015, 10.00PM) The official results of general elections 2015 of all 22 districts relating to 196 seats in parliament have been announced. The 29 national list MPs that would make up the balance to complete the 225 seats in parliament were also officially announced.  The UNP had been able to emerge victorious with a clear majority.The results inclusive of the national list MPs are as follows:

UNP – 5,098,927 votes -45.66 % -93 seats  plus national list 13 seats = 106 seats
UPFA – 4,732,669  votes -42.38 % -83 seats plus national list seats 12 = 95 seats 
Tamil National Alliance – 515,963 votes- 4.6% - 14 seats plus 2  national list seats = 16 seats 
JVP -543,944 votes– 4.87 %- 4 seats plus 2 National list seats = 6 seats 
Muslim Congress and EPDP secured one seat each.

Democratic party of Fonseka and the extremist party Bodhu Bala Sena were swept away at the polls with both parties not securing a single seat.

The UNP won in 11 districts , namely ,Colombo, Gampaha, Kegalle, Nuwara Eliya, Badulla , Kandy , Matale , Polonnaruwa , Trincomalee, Puttalam and Digamadulla .

UPFA won in 8  districts namely , Ratnapura, Kalutara, Galle, Matara, Moneragala,Hambantota, Anuradhapura and Kurunegala.

TNA won in three districts , namely , Jaffna, Wanni and Batticaloa.

If "bolandha" Wicki does not keep to his promises, there is a very good chance, according to the current stats, that grandfather Mahinda will be back i 5 years although he will be more senile at 75 but always even more insane and vengeful commis-president.
