Mahinda released State funds to LTTE even as suicide bomb attack was launched on Fonseka – Champika challenges MR to prove otherwise

(Lanka-e-News- 23.July.2015, 2.30PM)  ‘Mahinda Rajapakse must make a statement before the nation and confirm that he did not release funds of government treasury to the LTTE organization,’  ex  Minister of power and energy   Champika Ranawake challenged , when he addressed  a public rally  yesterday(22) at Homagama

* Whether monies were not released to Emil Kanthan who prior to 2005 , existed on extortion monies?
* Whether the secretary to Mahinda Rajapakse was not sent to Kilinochchi to hold discussions with the LTTE ?
* While making an announcement that the Tsunami devastated victims are to be provided with houses, whether treasury funds amounting to a colossal Rs. 800 million ! were not released to LTTE  terrorists?
* While members of the armed forces were dying in thousands in the Marvilaru district , was n’t extortion monies paid out of government funds urging not to harm the Rajapakse family ?

Mahinda is duty bound to give answers to these questions before the people . Those who are speaking a lot about the so called patriotic feats of Mahinda , and against terrorism , must know the traitorous acts of Mahinda too , Champika asserted. While the traitorous terrorists were killing the country’s security forces , and even when Sarath Fonseka fell victim to their  suicide bomb attack , Mahinda was releasing state funds to the terrorists , Champika pointed out.

Mahinda Rajapakse  , the leader of the State cum commanding chief of the forces stopped the extortion money payments only after his own brother Gotabaya Rajapakse came in for a bomb attack. Such a leader now getting on political stages to speak against terrorists is contemptible and a joke , Champika declared
