President exposed everything under pressures exerted by masses: people are with him as long as he is with us –Citizen’s force at mammoth rally

(Lanka-e-News-16.July.2015, 10.30PM) President Maithripala Sirisena had the need to address the nation and explain why he had to grant nominations to the Rajapakses because of the monumental opposition mounted against him by the people of the country for granting nominations, said the Ravaya editor K.W. Janaranjana , lawyer addressing the maiden rally of the Citizen’s force yesterday(15) , who went on to comment further as follows:

We are prepared to accept what the president revealed in his speech . Therefore we must rescue him from the villainous pressures exerted by Rajapakses and their crooked cronies on the president , and should prove that we are with the people’s forces that emerged victorious on 8 th January defeating the corrupt ridden regime.

The maiden rally which drew mammoth crowds at Nugegoda yesterday , was addressed by Ven. Ambara Amila Thera, senior lawyer J.C. Weliamuna, Dharmasiri Bandaranaike, Gamini Veyangoda, Chadragupta Thenuwara , Sarath Wijesuriya, and many others.

The musical concert that followed with popular musical group Gypsies of Sunil Perera , Kaushalya Fernando and several other stage artistes entertained the crowds.
