(Lanka-e-News- 09.May.2016, 10.00PM) Former M.P. Ananda Sangaree the leader of Dravida Vimukthi Peramuna is making preparations to launch a new political party. The party is at present named’ Democratic Tamil Janatha Peramuna, ’ and about 15 Tamil organizations including EPDP and EROS are extending support , Ananda Sangaree claimed. Invitations have been sent mentioning that opportunities are available to those who wish to join this political party after leaving the Tamil national organizations, he added.
Though the political party that is being founded by him is not resisting the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) , it is opposed to the TNA that is duping the Tamil people by trying to divide the country ; and the TNA’s demand for a Federal system , Ananda Sangaree pointed out.
He or his party will never seek a Federal administration system or any illegal systems, and it is his aim and hope to introduce a system in which all the people will be vested with rights in order that all will co exist as brothers and sisters, Ananda Sangaree emphasized.
It is his party ‘s goal to find solutions to all the issues faced by the Tamil people , and to provide relief to all those who suffered because of the war.
If the TNA engages in politics deceiving the Tamil people , they have no right even to use that name , Ananda Sangaree said while recalling its leaders were long dead as far back as 26 years ago.
The issues of the youths who went to the rehabilitation camps from the LTTE organization have still not been resolved . It is the aim of his party to resolve them , Ananda Sangaree asserted.
