(Lanka-e-News- 20.April.2016, 11.45PM) IP Sumith Champika Perera who was the Narahenpita police crimes division OIC was arrested this evening at about 4.00. p.m. by the CID in connection with the murder of Rugby player Thajudeen , Police media spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekera revealed to Lanka e news.
The suspect was taken into custody on charges of suppressing evidence relating to Thajudeen ‘s murder .
