(Lanka-e-News- 01.March.2016, 11.30PM) Five organizers who were engaging in underhand activities to the detriment of the SLFP were sacked by president Maithripala Sirisena yesterday (29) , while appointing 22 new Electoral and District organizers .
The sacked organizers better known as those who bite the hand that feeds are : Prasanna Ranatunge, Dilum Amunugama, Duminda Silva, Kanthi Kodikara and Dhanasiri Amaratunge. The new organizers appointed in their places are : Ruwan Ranatunge, Manel Bandara, Abeyratne, Prasanna Solangarachi, Isuru Devapriya and lawyer Keerthi Udawatte. They are organizers for Minuwangoda, Udunuwara, Kolonnawa, Maharagama and Dehiwala respectively.
In addition, Hector Bethmage , Sumith Wijemuni Soysa, Mahinda Samarasinghe , Ranjith Somawansa, Sumith Lal Mendis ,Chandima Rasaputra, S.B. Dissanayake, Thilina Bandara Tennekoon , Mahinda Abeykoon , Mohomed Samsham and Nalin Gunawardena have been appointed as electoral organizers for Colombo West , Avissawella, Panadura, Agalawatte, Kalutara, Matara, Hewaheta, Senkadagala, Akurana and Seruwila respectively , while Sanjaya Siriwardena has been appointed as general organizer for Mirigama.
With a view to reinforcing the party further , seven more district organizers were appointed in respect of five districts. They are : Sujeewa Chandrasiri- Colombo; Anju Sri Sham Perera- Gampaha; Asanka Ediriweera – Kalutara; Channa Saliya Mendis and Thisara Gunasinghe- Galle; Pasanda Yapa Abeywardena and Nalin Ranaweera – Matara.
Maithripala Sirisena has decided to introduce similar changes in respect of all SLFP organizations too affiliated to the party .

Kanthi kodikara is the worst of the worst. She stole the water pump which was worth millions from Ruckmalgama housing scheme saying that she will install it to the new water distribution tower at Pola Junction and installed another low cost cheap water pump.
Because of the removal of this water pump, all the residents of the elevated grounds doesn't get water properly. They get water early in the morning till 0430 and again at about 3pm for a few minutes; evening of course water flows from taps after 9pm... There are about 40 families being affected by this situation.
When this was informed to Kanthi Kodikara, she has told that these people didn't vote for her, so this will be their punishment!!
After suffering from this pressing issue for a long time, people of this region in Ruckmalgama went and met Vijayadasa Rajapakshe when the new regime came to power. He immediately instructed the NWS&DB; to increase the water pressure so that these families will get the benefit of drinking water. Thank god! The matter was resolved, but only for a few weeks.
After a water line repair, the engineer (female) has reduced the pressure back to low on the instructions of KK and now the families suffer the old fate!!
