(Lanka-e-News -09.Feb.2016, 11.45PM) When the parliament convened today , the harebrained hoodlums Dinesh , Vasu and Weerawansa better known as the ‘rogues for rogues’ team darted to the center of the asembly to call the speaker by nicknames such as ‘kalakanniya’ (useless rascal), ‘Dhemela’(a Tamil) and donkey while scolding him in most filthy and foul language in keeping with their characteristic style , thereby making Parliament the August assembly a bedlam. Consequently the parliamentary proceedings ground to a halt.
The reason for this most disgraceful conduct was , this group , ‘rogues for rogues ‘ that was appointed as members to parliament under the UPFA forcing the speaker to recognize them as a separate distinct party within parliament .
In response to this demand , the speaker explained to these morons , that as they have entered parliament as UPFA M.P.s, and when the UPFA is conducting itself as an integrated government within parliament ,he cannot be a party to the breaking down of the UPFA and incur that curse.
At this stage these hoodlums who represent the ‘rogue for rogues’ group began hurling filthy abuses at the speaker . The M.P who conducted himself most shamelessly and disgracefully was Ranjith Soysa M.P. who screamed at the speaker , ‘you good for nothing rascal, better you go.’ Though Dinesh and Vasu are senior politicians their conduct too was most degrading and disgraceful. It is strange that these senior politicians are unaware that these are issues that should be resolved with their leader of the UPFA , instead of darting before the speaker and creating mayhem in parliament. Perhaps their acute senile decay is taking toll of them now.
The group ‘rogues for rogues’ that was unrelentingly questioning earlier, ‘Where? Did you catch the cuprits?’ from the government of good governance , is now panic stricken after Yoshitha Rajapakse the son of ex president, and who is one of those among the top culprits in the list was arrested and remanded.
Today , a bill pertaining to the rights of women was slated to be taken up for debate . The government group regardess of the panic sticken state of the ‘rogues for rogues’ made their speeches ,and the resolution was passed.
When Weerawansa was speaking , the government group shouted ‘we don’t want the passport’ (Weerawansa’s wife was earlier arrested and remanded on charges of passport fraud , and Weerawansa too was incriminated in that crime). Later , the group ‘rogues for rogues walked out of Parliament.Though the parliament session was to continue until 7.00 p.m . , it had to be adjourned at 3.30 p.m.
When the group of ‘rogues for rogues’ were behaving like hooligans and obstructing the speakers when they were making their speeches , the government groups were assisting the speakers by surrounding and shielding them .While the August asembly was being made a bedlam by the ‘rogues for rogues’ hoodlums, president Maithripala was in his cubicle within parliament. He was not able to control the hoodlums of the group ‘rogues for rogues’
