UN Rights Chief arrives in Sri Lanka for 4 day visit

(Lanka-e-News -06.Feb.2016,11.00PM) The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein, arrived in Sri Lanka this morning for a four-day official visit, at the invitation of the Government.

During his visit, the High Commissioner will discuss a range of current challenges and opportunities for strengthening the rule of law and protection of human rights in Sri Lanka.
