Akila takes the cudgel to chase out corrupt super grade school principals and to clean up; Kingswood principal out !

(Lanka-e-News -12.Jan.2016, 3.30PM) The corrupt crooked Royal College Colombo prinicipal Upali Gunasekera better known as ‘Royal kendaya’ who was transferred following the discovery  that he was conducting a class illegally and on the sly for 40 students after collecting fees from them is now in the process of inciting students to protest in order to extricate himself from his present predicament , based on reports reaching Lanka e news .

SMS  messages have been sent by the principal to students and teachers requesting them to be present in  school on the 11 th at 6.30 a.m. to stage protests that the principal is good. To convey the message that the principal is good , the e mail address of the prime minister had been included in the message, it is reported .However the representatives of the teachers’ association claim that  a separate disciplinary inquiry shall  be held against him for stoking student protests with a view to rescue himself from the disgrace he has driven himself into.

Meanwhile , we publish herein two more reports that have caught the attention of the new minister of education which pertains to crooked and corrupt principals of super grade schools who have entrenched themselves in ther positions for long periods – 10 -15 years , and indulged in bribes and corruption  most secretly .The new minister has taken the cudgel to do a clean up and chase out these rascals who are ruining the children’s education and tarnishing the image of the education  sector  , it is learnt.

The first of these measures  taken is : transferring the principal of Kingswood College , Kandy who was caught taking bribes amounting to  Rs. 3 million. When stiudents were being admitted to this school this time  , monies amounting to Rs. 3 million were collected by him from students citing the grounds that a building has to be constructed.

The principal collected these monies fraudulently even though  a sum of Rs. 45 million has been allocated by the education ministry for the construction of the school  building .If that allocation is not enough , the principal ought to have informed the education ministry of the shortfall , which he had not done.

The second action taken : Interdiction of four Directors of education ministry for appointing teachers having no eligibility qualifications.

When appointing western music teachers , owing to the dearth , those who have been sucessful  in the  advanced level exam in  western music have been  appointed as teachers. These Directors after accepting bribes have given appointments as western musc teachers to GCE advanced level failed students.Following the discovery of this corrupt activity the four directors were interdicted.

Meanwhile the prinicipal of D.S. Senanayake College was also transferred based on charges of corruption .
