| Warnings to Britishers touring SL certified by Anuradhapura tourist resort owners |

(Lanka-e-News -23.Aug.2012, 11.50PM) While the Britishers touring SL have been issued warnings , a British lady tourist touring SL had been assaulted by the owner and the Manager of a popular Holiday resort in Anuradhapura, according to reports.
The tourist had visited this resort on the 19th to stay the night . The fee quoted for the stay had been Rs. 1000/- .

The following day when the guest was trying to check out , the Manager and the Lady owner of the resort had raised the fee to Rs.1500/- and sought to demand a further Rs. 500/- . When the tourist had objected to this , both of them had got together and attacked the Britisher. The latter had lodged a complaint in this connection with the Anuradhapura tourist police. |
