| Dr. Nirmal threatened – Stop your FUTA action if you love your wife and children |

 (Lanka-e-News-23.June.2012, 4.50PM) A media briefing was held yesterday (22) at the National public library to enlighten the media on the murder threats that are being held out by the murderous Rajapakse regime to the President of the Federation of University Teachers Association (FUTA), Dr. Nirmal Ranjith Devasiri . The latter told Lanka e news even as the meeting was being held somebody gave him a call and again threatened him .
The individual who so threatened had said , it is he who came to the neighboring house of Devasiri’s and collected information , and that he represents the University students. He had asked to stop the University Doctors’ trade union action immediately as it is hampering their studies.
The caller had also stated that he has details of Devasiri’s wife and children , and if he does not halt his actions on behalf of FUTA , the consequences would be drastic and he would later regret. |

Dr. Devasiri had made a complaint to the Cinnamon gardens police furnishing full particulars.
