(Lanka-e-News-17.June.2012, 9.30PM) The crown prince of the ruling regime of SL, the first synthetic Lawyer is these days busy purchasing SL’s old Walauwas (ancient mansions), and his latest in this series is the Walauwa purchased by him on the 14th at Monarawila , Gampola . A sum of Rs. 600 Lakhs had been paid as advance on this transaction , according to reports reaching Lanka e news.
This synthetic Lawyer who is possessed by this Walauw mania had so far bought 8 Walauwas : Kandy Ratwatte Walauwa, Alkaduwa Walauwa, Gampola Unambuwa walauwa ,Keppetipola walauwa and others.
He has bought all the Walauwas not in his name and not at once. These transactions have been done in the name of an individual who crossed over to the regime from the UNP, owning pawning businesses, hotel business and a chain of other commercial ventures. |
